School Seal
The world is changing on a daily basis in a wide range of realms, including politics, economic, communication and information…etc. There are some things, however, that do not change. For example, communication—the transmission of thought between one person and another via ‘language’. This passes over distance, and over borders. Like droplets that expand the ripples in the ocean, ‘language’ that leads to wonderful communication contains a great deal of power, no matter how small the word. At KUIS, we believe that ‘language’, as culture, plays a major role in intercultural communication. The university logo represents the mouth, where words originate…RED words, that course with blood, and BLUE representing the world and cosmos.

Undergraduate School
Kanda University of International Studies teaches wide-ranging general knowledge and conducts deep specialist scholarly research. At the same time KUIS aims to nurture human resources who can explore Japan’s traditions and cultures, understand other countries’ cultures and contribute to the world as members of the international community.
Graduate School
In line with KUIS aims and mission, the aim of KUIS graduate school is to contribute to cultural progress by conducting and deepening scholarly theoretical and practical research.
